What is the difference between Stereo Bluetooth® capable with A2DP and Bluetooth® Wireless capable?
Those are two different options and I do not know the difference. I know that some phones only allow you to play Bluetooth with headphones and I don’t want that, I want to be able to set them as ringtones and such. Which one do I want?
A2DP = Stereo music through wireless headphones (many phones do not have this). Any headphones you use that are compatible with this will also allow you to talk to people as you would with a normal Bluetooth Headset. If the phone has A2DP, it also has regular bluetooth.
Bluetooth (regular) = Allows you to have a bluetooth headset to talk and such, but not listen to stereo music (most phones have this).
Your question is unclear, but I’ll give it a try:
You can set your phone to “ring” using a ringtone no matter which form of bluetooth your phone uses. A2DP is only useful if you wish to use bluetooth Stereo Headphones. If you have a choice, just get A2DP because you may want to listen to stereo music wirelessly in the future, and it has the ability to be used as “regular” bluetooth as well.
